Bandy Creek Campground is located in the Tennessee portion of Big South Fork off of Highway 297, 15 miles west of Oneida and 24 miles east of Jamestown. Bandy Creek Campground is a central hub in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. The grounds include 181 tent, trailer, and group camping sites. Each features your standard fire rings and picnic tables along with access to restrooms and showers. The trailer sites offer water and electrical hookups.

Bandy Creek Campground is one of, if not the, nicest campground I’ve stayed in. The majority of the sites are shaded with plenty of room, nice picnic tables, bear safe food storage vaults, and fire pits. Plenty of garbage bins are close by so you don’t have to drag your trash around wondering where to put it. Park at the Bandy Creek Visitor Center and ride north on Duncan Hollow Road (past the swimming pool and campground entrance) for about 2.3 miles to Alfred Smith Road. Turn right onto Alfred Smith Road and follow it 1.9 miles to the Grand Gap Loop trailhead. Brandy Creek RV Campground has 32 spaces on an asphalt surface with little shade.
